As a student, you should come out of a lesson saying, "Wow, that was fun! I learned so much, and I can use and/or transfer that knowledge in my school, job or life." You shouldn't think, "Oh my gosh! That was so boring. I seriously wasted my time and money. The teacher had no idea what I really needed or how I learn. I could have learned that myself online or in a textbook."

No student is the same. Therefore, the curriculum for each student should be specifically designed for YOU and YOU alone! You also need to be the main participant in helping design your tutoring plan/curriculum course.

I been working (as a teacher and administrator) in international education for 20+ years. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching - TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in French. My student focus is: elementary through adult - both public and private education. I have taught students literally from all around the world.

Personally, I have studied aboard, lived and worked both in the U.S. and overseas in various countries. I am multilingual, and I continue to strive to improve my communication (reading, writing, listening and speaking) in other languages.
