Certified Tutor

I received my BFA in Creative Writing from UNC Wilmington. There, I was a writing tutor at the University Learning Center, and helped a wide range of college students with essays, papers and various writing and language skills. More recently, I also finished my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, and have teaching experience in the high school art classroom. Working with students one-on-one, finding ways to help them understand the material, and building personal relationships has always been a passion for me. Writing and language are especially important (and fun) to me, and I hope to bring some of that enthusiasm to my students own outlook.

Outside of writing, reading, and art, I love baking, biking, and travel. Above all, I have a desire to help others, whether its cooking a meal for a friend or helping a student master a skill.
