Certified Tutor

When I was a kid, I often played school with my siblings, and I always was the teacher. As we grew older, our school games turned into real tutoring, and my younger sisters enlisted my help with math, science, history, English, and Spanish. Aside from always being on call to tutor family, I've helped out fellow students whom I've met on my college's rugby team and in my sorority. I've also tutored a few people that I found seeking help on Craigslist. Now, I'm seen as the go-to friend for homework help among my peers. I love helping people understand their coursework- there's something beautiful in those lightbulb moments, and rarely is there anything so satisfying as finally mastering a topic once impossible to digest. I firmly believe that knowledge is power, and with patience and a helping hand, I think anyone is capable of power beyond measure. As a current college student, I understand the struggle of not acing every assignment right away, and I can't wait for the next opportunity to help someone find the peace of mind that learning brings.
