Certified Tutor

I am a certified Math Tutor with a passion for teaching. I believe that I can provide a way for any student to achieve success in the subject material by catering to their learning style. I graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Mathematics. I also have a Certificate of eligibility in teaching Mathematics.

I tutor all areas in Mathematics including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, PreCalc, Calculus I, Probability, Statistics, SAT, and SAT Subject test. My favorite subject to tutor is Calculus because it combines various areas in Mathematics and offers a way to understand Mathematics on a deeper level.

My philosophy is to instill into my students the same curiosity and insight into Mathematics as I have had most of my life. Mathematics is often seen by many as a tedious subject that can only be understood by the few, however, I believe that anyone can achieve success as long as they are willing to make the effort.

I have many interests outside of Mathematics including working out at the gym. It reduces stress and provides motivation and confidence. I also like hanging out with my friends and going to an occasional movie as everyone needs to enjoy life. Occasionally I also partake in a game of chess. This brilliant game develops the mind like nothing else and increases mind focus and stamina.
