Certified Tutor

Hi! I am a returning member to Varsity Tutors after first joining back in 2017-18 and having some unfortunate technical challenges with my first student. Rest assured, that student was able to get the help they needed and I'm back on the platform to share strategies, tools and tips that have helped me become successful in my profession, educational pursuits and soft/life skills in my time away! I have a Masters in Business Management and Leadership plus a Bachelors of Multi-Disciplinary Studies in Business, Education and Social Work. In college, I was on Dean's List for many semesters, was a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, University Ambassadors and a Gates Millennium Scholar. I have a certification in Full Stack Web Development, Creative Facilitation, Agile Methodology, Appreciative Inquiry and 30 years of studying the Spanish language (including some real-time trips abroad!). With the improvements to the Varsity Tutors platform, the addition of the mobile app and some open time in my schedule, it felt like a great time to return and give this another go. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you (or your student!) and share my love of learning as you pursue your goals in school, work and life.

When I'm not tutoring or helping others, I enjoy getting out in my garden, playing catch with my cat, making playlists on Spotify, writing, engaging my body in some sort of fitness/wellness activity, cooking, making art, or reading!
