I have a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Moravian College. I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University. I am currently a grant review officer for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) where I organize the scientific merit review of medical research grant applications for funding by the federal government. Throughout my career I have enjoyed teaching/mentoring students of many levels in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and physiology. In my free time I enjoy hiking, running, drumming, playing pool, and bowling.
