Hi! My name is Dhruv, and I am a third-year student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology with an emphasis on Medical Physiology. Currently, I am working towards a Bachelor of Sciences degree, and looking forward to applying for medical school after graduation. I have a deep passion for teaching and have been tutoring since I was in 7th grade. I started my tutoring career as a math and reading tutor in Kumon, went on to start my own tutoring program in high school, and now work as a teaching assistant in Berkeley for Biology. I am so excited and privileged to use the Varsity Tutors platform to engage with students and help our world's youth to achieve academically! I grew up in Austin, Texas and attended the Liberal Arts at Science Academy, which during my time there was rank the 8th best high school in the United States.As a young student, I strove for doing my absolute best on every assignment and exam Coming to UC Berkeley, I have found that the true joy of learning comes from helping others reach their potentials. I love tutoring because not only do I get to teach others about subjects I am passionate about, but I also learn and challenge myself.
