I have been tutoring reading, writing, college test prep, career, college, life coaching and more for the past ten years. My academic background includes a B.S. in Corporate Communication and two B.A.s in Rhetoric & Writing and Cultural Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin. I was also a competing member of the #1 Nationally Ranked University of Texas Speech & Debate Team.
I absolutely love meeting my students and assisting them with whatever subject mastery I can. It's truly beautiful to watch them grow from frustrated, uninterested, or sad to engaged, excited, and confident. The schools systems, unfortunately, do not have the resources to work with each individual student. It's for this reason I'm hopeful for tutoring programs like Varsity Tutors.
