Certified Tutor

I currently work as a student learning facilitator at a community college. This means I tutor mathematics in an individualized and group setting, and I TA in a college algebra class. I went to the U of Arizona (go Wildcats!) and majored in accounting. I really enjoy numbers!
In my spare time, I am a long distance trailrunner, and I love going on adventures in the mountains with friends. When I relax, you can find me curled up with a good book or doing some yoga.
I started tutoring in high school, and have over a decade of tutoring experience. This has afforded me the opportunity to work with a wide range of different students, including ESL adults and high schoolers. I am a CRLA Level 2 tutor, which means I have undergone supervised tutoring hours, and learned a variety of tutoring techniques. I love when a student gets that "a-ha" moment, and want to assist you in getting to that moment.
