Hi there! I have over 4 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from ages 5 to 65. My areas of expertise include elementary school reading and math, K-12 science, ACT, SAT, and IB test prep, and MCAT prep, especially reading and biology sections.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with a B.A. in Theatre and minor in Public Health, I taught English to K-6 students in Seoul, South Korea for two years. I served for a summer as an AmeriCorps Summer Reads VISTA, tutoring K-3 students in elementary literacy. I've also taught ESL to adult immigrants in Minneapolis for three summers, and am ESL certified through the Minnesota Literacy Council.
I'm currently applying to medical school, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
