I received my BA in English and History from Houston Baptist University. I have been tutoring online for over four years, with a focus on essay writing and editing. My main interest is in helping students to improve their grammar as well as develop their personal writing style, in order to better communicate their ideas and summarize research information from various sources on their own. In general, I prefer to lead students to figure out the answers on their own rather than dictating answers to them, either by giving pointers or though a dialogue, that way they become more independent learners and writers.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, mainly literature and philosophy. I am available to tutor in English and history most days of the week in the afternoons and evenings.
