I have a degree in English and French Literature from Penn State University and a Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the School for International Tranining. I have taught in the U.S. and abroad during my 14 year teaching career. I love languages and literature and enjoy helping students meet their language learning goals. My area of expertise is in writing instruction, however, I have taught courses in all of the skills areas of the English language: speaking, listening, reading and writing. I have worked with people of many different ages and language backgrounds and I look forward to meeting and working with you!

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe it is essential to "meet students where they are" and build upon their prior knowledge and skills. All learning should tap into students' interests and be focused on their educational goals and personal development.
