Certified Tutor

I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Philosophy from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in May 2015. I then stayed on for a Master of Arts in Philosophy, which I received in August 2016. University programs in English and Philosophy are designed to promote creativity, adaptability, and technical proficiency in reading and writing, with a special emphasis in Philosophy on clarity. These are values I have internalized, and I believe my work reflects that: for instance, in 2014, my GRE Verbal Reasoning scores placed me in the top 1% of test-takers.

I moved to Brooklyn at the beginning of February. I have really enjoyed getting acquainted with the Greater New York area, and I've been lucky to attend some excellent live music shows. In the rest of my free time I enjoy reading (both literature and philosophy), making music on my synthesizer, and spending time in conversation with my friends.
