I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. While attending university, I tutored students both in a one-on-one setting as well as through the school-sponsored Peer-Led Team Learning program. Because of my strong technical background I am most passionate about teaching math and science. I have found that many students have trouble in the STEM fields because the concepts taught in school are hard to conceptualize. I make it my goal to simplify these seemingly complex subjects by establishing a solid understanding of fundamentals, utilizing visual aids, and asking conceptual questions. I am a firm believer that all students can excel in these subjects with the right tutoring approach.
