What is your teaching philosophy?
Every student has it in them to be the best they can be. They innately know the answer. With encouragement, support and practice, we achieve success. No student is left behind. We are a team.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would get to know their wants and why they are seeking tutoring. I want to know their weakness and strengths, what they love to do and what they don't like to do. Knowing this allows me to develop a better relationship with my student and gain trust.
