Hi, my name is Parsan and I am a sophomore at the University of Minnesota majoring in Economics. I enjoy helping people learn because I believe true mastery of a subject is being able to teach it. My promise to the students I work with is to put in as much work as they do. I firmly believe that what you get out of something depends on what you put in, so whatever a student will put in I will give back.
In my free time I really enjoy being outside with friends, long boarding, and martial arts. I achieved my black belt in Goju-Ryu Karate after eight years, and now frequently practice independently at home. I was lucky to be able to visit several countries in Europe this summer and hope to travel more on upcoming holidays. My goal is to work as an English teacher in a Taiwanese Summer camp after this school year.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that every student learns in their own way. As a tutor, it's my responsibility to create personalized ways of learning for each student that helps them understand a subject best.
