My background in tutoring and education began during a study abroad semester in Spain where I worked with young children who were learning English. After graduating from NYU in 2013, I went on to serve as Program Coordinator for their Executive MBA Program. I just recently returned from a year abroad in the beautiful country of Chile. I arrived in Chile via the United Nations Development Program to teach English in an underfunded public school. I extended my time in Latin America by teaching individual classes to adults at an English language institute. I am currently substituting at a bilingual charter school in DC for a variety of subjects. I studied Anthropology, Sociology, and Creative Writing at NYU and have extensive experience in literature, writing, and history courses. I received and International Baccalaureate High School Diploma and would love the opportunity to work with students pursing the same. In my free time enjoy exploring the outdoors, going hiking, drawing, going to concerts, and practicing my Spanish. I thoroughly enjoy working with students and find the experience educational and exciting. I'm committed to each of my students and am constantly seeking ways to compliment their learning styles. I'm a learner for life and a firm believer that education should be fun and eye-opening. I hope to begin working with you soon!
