I believe that math was made to make sense, and that with the right direction, anyone can excel with it. To me, it makes sense to take a personalized approach to each student, as every student has different needs. I grew up in Miami, Florida, and received a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. I've been tutoring students ages 8 and up in math and test prep for more than 6 years and also have professional experience teaching computer science to both beginning and advanced students. I have a developed interest in the role of games in the course of education, with both nonprofit experience developing educational games as well as academic experience researching the merits of interactivity in education.
