I am a recent graduate from Muhlenberg College, which I graduated from with a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Sociology and Minors in Philosophy and English. My background is in non-profit work and I have recently returned to the USA after working in Cape Town, South Africa, with a social innovations center that evaluated civil society and government programs for best-practice and social innovation through an annual awards program. I also have been working with the Harvard Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation to document award-winning South African projects.
My passion for tutoring developed as I tutored throughout High School and College. I have tutored in a variety of subject such as various Math courses, English, Social Sciences, and Essay Writing. I believe everyone has the capability to understand subject material with the project guidance and help.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that everyone deserves an equal chance to learn, and that while everyone does not work at the same pace, each person can excel.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would want to get to know the student before we begin diving into the material. Understanding more about a person and the type of learning style that fits them is of the upmost importance.
