I am a graduate of The Los Andes University, in Venezuela. I received my Law degree and obtained a Specialization in Intellectual Property Law. Since graduation, I have worked in the field of Intellectual Property. Because I am as passionate as I am about sharing knowledge, I began teaching inventors, writers, singers, and writers about how to protect their creations. I also began teaching in college. After I arrived in the U.S., my passion became directed towards helping those interested in learning Spanish as a second language.
My own experience have showed me that being able to communicate freely with people in another language is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences a person can have. I tutor in a wide range of subjects, and I am absolute passionate about helping my students with preparing and reviewing papers, postgraduate theses, and dissertations. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking healthy foods and creating new recipes, running (which I describe as my active meditation technique), and of course traveling.

Every student is unique, and my goal is to help them to discover and develop their own abilities.

Helping students find their own personal reasons for doing class work, for achieving their potential.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Simplify the skill or concept to the level of the student.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
Through practicing with subjects of their interest, such as sports, movies or travel.
What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
Connecting to my student, understanding their motivation, and giving them chance to improve.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
Tracking their progress.
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
Reviewing results and following clear objectives.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
Helping them to work with their own potential.
How do you evaluate a student's needs?
Check every few minutes to see whether students are following along with the lesson.
How do you adapt your tutoring to the student's needs?
No two tutoring sessions are the same. A tutor has the ability to relate to the student and adapt their tutoring to the student's particular needs.
What types of materials do you typically use during a tutoring session?
Based on the student needs, the material I use would be the official guides as well as other information in connection with the student's interest.
