Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Shepherd University in West Virginia with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Secondary English. I received a Masters Degree in Communications from West Virginia University. I have spent over 25 years in the classroom as a teacher of middle school and high school English and was a finalist for Teacher of the Year in 2 different states. In addition, I spent 5 years teaching public speaking and communications at the college level. I am available to teach a variety of subjects, but I specialize in English, literature and grammar related subjects. I can also teach SAT and ACT prep. You will find me to be energetic and enthusiastic, with a great sense of humor. My schedule is very flexible and I am willing to work with students to find a schedule that is convenient to them!
