From my personal experience, I recognize that everyone has a unique learning style that does not always align with traditional methods used in schools. I am excited to have the opportunity to tailor my teaching style to better meet the needs of my students, my number one priority. I hope to also make learning as fun and interesting as possible.
This past year, I graduated with a Biology degree from Stanford University and am currently applying to medical school. I have immersed myself in the world of science in my own studies, but I also feel comfortable teaching Math, Spanish, and Music. I am passionate about these subjects and aspire to spread my enthusiasm to others. In my spare time, I love to rock climb, travel, take photos using a film camera, and eat.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
I think it is incredibly important to figure out how a person learns best. Once I figure that out, I try to tailor my explanations and exercises to that individual person.
