Certified Tutor

I grew up in Kaukauna, Wisconsin where I attended high school. When I began my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, I already had around 30 credits due to college courses I took in high school (a route I would strongly encourage). While at UW I pursued a bachelor's degree in botany, which I received in May of 2013. Since graduation I have worked on a hops farm and as a tutor. As a tutor I have taught many subjects, but my specialties are in math and sciences. I have tutored all levels of math through high school, as well as biology, chemistry and physics. I also have a plethora of experience tutoring college entrance test prep such as the ACT and SAT. I additionally tutor reading and writing on occasion. This fall I will be returning to school to pursue a PhD in ecology and evolution. I am a huge fan of science in general, and love to help others understand how science works. I am a huge fan of the show Cosmos, and if I am tutoring you I will probably bring it up at some point. Aside from science and tutoring, I enjoy playing guitar, sailing, gardening, traveling reading, and cycling.
