I have a PhD in microbiology from the University of Georgia. I have taught many biology and microbiology laboratory classes.

Tutoring strategies:
-create a non-threatening environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions
-when in doubt draw it out (helps with memory)
-videos to help with understanding concepts

I have also mentored students at the K-12 and college levels. So not only will we go over science topics we can also create future career goals, and chat about sports, baking, or pets.

My ears are open and my mind is sympathetic to my student's needs.
