I have over 6 years of experience working with youth as a Mentor and a Tutor. I continue to learn about myself and see similarities in others from everyone I meet. I believe my strength, as a Tutor, comes from being able to understand the students that I work with, and in building their confidence. I understand the effects that self-esteem and confidence have on the success of my students and how the ability or desire to learn is impacted by the support system they have access to.
I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to reciprocate what life has given me. I enjoy motivating, inspiring growth, and development in others as, well as strengthening my communication skills.
