I am a passionate Certified Teacher with over 10 years experience teaching and tutoring. I have worked with all ages, including elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adult learners. I have taught reading, writing, academic intervention services, elective classes in reading and writing, career readiness and study habits courses.

I have also taught courses and conducted tutoring in math and English, SHSAT preparation, and PSAT preparation. I have tutored with Kaplan and America Reads, and was a volunteer tutor for Literacy Partners, an adult literacy organization. I also have experience as a private tutor for multiple subjects, including reading, writing, math, and test preparation.

I have a proven track-record for raising the reading levels and test scores of my students. I excel at targeting students' needs and developing differentiated lessons to meet those individual needs. I deliver material and strategies in an engaging way, and have experience tutoring students who need individualized assistance, assisting students with special needs, and providing enrichment to students who excel.
