I'm Cassie, an Educator and Ph.D. Candidate in Hispanic Linguistics at The University of Texas at Austin. I have a B.A. and M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics. I'm bilingual and enjoy using my creativity, backwards planning, and intercultural competencies to teach and review Spanish language concepts and conversation skills.

I have 10 years of foreign language teaching, tutoring, and curriculum development experience in K-12, university, community, and individual settings. I am a certified K-12 Spanish teacher and have served 4 years as an evaluator for the Spanish AP test. I have spent 11 years building expertise in linguistics, language acquisition, and translation. Lastly, I have lived in and visited 12 Latin American countries and regions.

I'm passionate about helping others culturally and linguistically connect with Spanish-speakers around the world. I'm open to tutoring opportunities to support high school and university students who are enrolled in high school or university beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish classes.
