Certified Tutor

I'm a graduate of North Carolina State University, class of 2003, with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Since my graduation, I have regularly tutored different mathematics and science courses such as Physics, Geometry, Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I especially enjoy using guided practice to help learners understand a little more about the material and its implications for the real world. I believe that I'm a good tutor because I understand from experience what it's like to not have a natural affinity for mathematics. I'm living proof that although some people may indeed be "born with it" anyone can become proficient if they are willing to put in the work!
