I am currently working as a research specialist at the University of Pennsylvania. Our laboratory focuses on cancer biology, so I am well versed in Biology and Chemistry. I have experience as a teaching assistant from my alma mater, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where I helped teach courses in the Chemistry and Biochemistry departments. These experiences have taught me how to explain complex ideas in simple, easy-to-grasp concepts. I am also extremely patient, willing to explain the same idea many times and respectful of everyone's individual learning styles and current ability. Finally, if I have not excited my student by the material they are learning, In my eyes, I have failed to do my job.
