I believe that every student has the ability to improve. It may be a student currently struggling with a subject. Perhaps the student is already proficient but wants to improve in a few key areas. In any case, the right combination of dedication and guidance from a tutor can help tremendously.

I also believe that each student is different and their tutoring should be tailored to their strengths and weaknesses. That is why I approach each student individually and attempt to match the sessions to what will be most helpful for each student. I am a positive person and will always approach a student with a positive outlook, even when they are having difficulty, because confidence is one key element in academic success.

I have a Master's degree in English with a focus in writing. I have taught and tutored at the college, high school, and elementary school levels. My experience teaching students of different ages enables me to tutor children, teens, or adults.
