We continued to review for his test. His teacher gave him a review sheet which we went over. The student also showed me an extra credit assignment that was assigned in which he had to use football stats of two NFL quarterbacks to calculate their passer rating. All formulas were given and I guided him through the process of using them. We went through some additional problems at the end of Chapter 4 to continue preparing him for the test. No homework was assigned other than to have him review all his materials again to reinforce learned concepts.

The student and I went over a previous assignment that he finished in class. I then pulled a practice quiz from his book for him to do and then went over another quiz that he had done poorly on. The student is making excellent progress. The manner by which he approaches math problems is showing great improvement.

We started off by constructing an outline for the paper and we spent a good deal of time going through various government-related environmental science websites to find sources for the chemistry information. Afterwards, we started to organize the paper into sections and spent time going over the chemistry of each of the individual chemical reactions involved in the process.

We went over greetings, talking about yourself, numbers 30-60. We completed several homework worksheets assigned by his teacher and practiced his About Me oral presentation. The student is great with numbers and math, but is challenged more by phrases. This is where we will focus our work.
