Physics Tutoring review by Joel in Portsmouth
The student had some worksheets on two-dimensional kinematics. We went through the 6-step process to do pulley and gravity on ramp problems, then we tackled some conceptual problems. She gets the concepts; she just needs to stop and think sometimes.

Physics Tutoring review by Christine in Portsmouth
We split the session between physics and calculus. I cleared up a few questions that the student had about graphing a function given the derivative and a "starting point" and we discussed what the definition of differentiable is, and talked about why functions with jump discontinuities are not differentiable at that point. In physics, we reviewed older topics from last year - especially impulse and momentum, and projectile motion.

Physics Tutoring review by Ammar in Portsmouth
We covered vectors, kinematic equations for motion under uniform acceleration, and projectile motion. The student is very malleable and receptive to new information/concepts. I advised her to read ahead into the textbook before topics are covered in class.

Physics Tutoring review by Dan in Portsmouth
The student and I continued working on his online schooling. We practiced for most of the session on his physics for an upcoming test. We've been learning about kinematic equations for the last couple of weeks, and today's cumulative review of all the lessons helped him prepare for the test. I am now confident of him performing successfully on the test.
