LSAT Tutoring review by Kory in Westminster
The student worked mainly on the English and science sections today. After reviewing the English section, the vast majority of wrong answers were because of the same two rules. Therefore, after learning and mastering this subject, he averages only 3-4 wrong questions per section. This translates to a low 30/high 20! On the science section, he seems to have an easy time answering the questions once she has thoroughly examined the questions, but it takes a little longer than usual. Unfortunately, the only way to make this faster is to practice more. Therefore, for next session, we will focus on these sections (along with math).

We worked on sentence completion problems and agreed that she needs to study her vocabulary. I had her do some writing multiple choice problems to assess her skills, which seem good in those areas.

The student has a large unit test this Tuesday so we used this session to review Aims 27-34. We went over areas that were more confusing and focused especially on light equations and properties of electromagnetic radiation. We also reviewed atoms, orbitals, orbital configuration, radioactivity, and half life problems. We also discussed atomic theory. She is well prepared for her test this week!

LSAT Tutoring review by Dara in Westminster
The student was relaxed taking his test on Saturday, but definitely ran out of time on his sections. He cancelled his score immediately, as planned. Today we went deep into RC to look at how the big idea of a passage impacts almost all of the questions about that passage - even in wrong answers.
