LSAT Tutoring review by Julie in Chesterfield
The student and I are continuing to do extended sessions. We worked primarily on games today. We did several challenging/unique game types so that he is ready for the toughest the LSAT can throw at him. He is continuing to improve in games. His set up is getting better. We also worked on logical reasoning, where he continues to improve as well.

LSAT Tutoring review by Sarah in Chesterfield
The student did some practice problems earlier and did pretty well. On the analytical reasoning, she just needs to remember to slow down on the last few questions particularly, but other than that, she's doing very well on those. We did one set of analytical, and she did quite well. We also did two sets of logical reasoning questions, and she did well on those. Tomorrow, she's going to spend most of the day trying to relax and not worry about the exam.

LSAT Tutoring review by Carl in Chesterfield
Today was my first meeting with this student. We started out by discussing his overall admissions goals and history with standardized tests. As a nontraditional student, it's been some time since he had to sit down for this sort of test, so there was a lot of 'ground rule' type things to cover: when the test is held, what its format is, how to prepare, etc. After going over the basics, we took a look at each of the individual sections (LR, RC, LG), and discussed the overall pattern of difficulty and the basics of the reasoning the testmaker uses to distinguish wrong and right answers. Between now and our next meeting, he's going to be taking a practice exam and purchasing a new lesson book.
