I am a graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. I then earned my MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I am now in residency and training to become a dermatologist . My tutoring experience includes being a neuroscience T.A. during undergrad, an anatomy tutor during medical school, and as a volunteer tutor for middle school-aged children through various organizations. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about math and science. I understand that each student requires different strategies to learn and am prepared to provide a unique and adaptable approach to each student. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis or ping pong, watching anime and youtube, and playing with my dog.

I'm a student at the University of Georgia, and I'm majoring in Biology and sociology. I've tutored everybody from elementary school students in Language Arts to college students in calculus. I am going to medical school at Columbia University in the fall. I worked as a TA and tutor in college for biology and music courses, and I also have experience preparing students for standardized tests. My approach to tutoring is not to simply teach the material, but also to give my students the tools and strategies they need to teach themselves. I am a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where I received my Bachelor of Sciences in Anthropology and Human Biology with a minor in Predictive Health. After I graduated, I worked as a laboratory assistant at a cardiology lab at Emory University School of Medicine. While I am interested in chemistry, math among others in STEM, I am very passionate about biotechnology and general biology including genetics, physiology, and cell biology. As an aspiring dentist, I am currently working towards getting a dental degree. During my undergraduate career, I had several experiences of helping other students with learning materials and quiz/exam preparation. I am a student-athlete graduate of the Emory University Class of 2020, where I obtained a B.S. in Biology. I am a recent Cornell University graduate (Dec '23) majoring in Biological Sciences with a focus on Genetics, Genomics, and Development. My passion lies in healthcare, as I am currently preparing to attend medical school this upcoming fall. However, I have always had an interest in teaching. I started as a general chemistry TA, supporting students during problem solving sessions. Then, I helped teach our genetics lecture course, coordinating individual and group tutoring sessions that guided students in content application. This position transformed into a leadership role, organizing our teaching team while spearheading an initiative to train fellow teaching assistants in pedagogical techniques that I learned in a course I took on the art of teaching. Lastly, in an ethics of medicine course of non-STEM majors, I prepared and facilitated discussion sections on current topics in personalized medicine. These experiences, combined with my time as a teaching assistant in correctional facilities, helped me grow as a varsity tutor now going into my 4th year on this platform. I am an energetic tutor with an abundance of tutoring experience in a broad range of subjects. As a biology major at Washington University in St. Louis, I am well-versed in chemistry, biology, physics and calculus. I am currently a senior at Harvard College where I study chemistry, and I'll be attending Columbia Medical School next year. I have years of experience tutoring college students in math (mostly calculus) and chemistry including both general and organic chemistry. In addition, I am very familiar with all sections of the SAT and ACT having prepared several high school students for these tests. I believe that every student is capable of boosting his or her baseline score on these tests, so long as he or she works hard to get to know the format of the tests and the most popular types of questions. I tutor because I love seeing students develop a genuine passion for the subjects they once disliked (such as math and science), once they understand the power of these subjects and their applications to the real world.

I am a master's student studying computer science at the University of Pennsylvania. I have been working as a private tutor for two years now, and I am currently a teaching assistant for an introductory course in discrete math at Penn. I love helping students conquer their fears of math and computer science, and I hope to dispel the myth that success in these areas requires special talent.

I am passionate about students learning the wonderful Spanish language! I teach all levels of Spanish, including Conversational Spanish and SAT Subject Tests. While I am not Hispanic, I took Spanish classes every year from the second grade through high school. I then went to Rice University for college, where I took a Spanish class every semester, including a medical Spanish interpreting internship. After that I went to medical school, where I worked as a Spanish medical interpreter for doctors and launched a Medical Spanish curriculum. I also love movies, music, and books in Spanish. I know what it's like approaching this language from the outside, and I have a lot of helpful tricks to break down and simplify the language. I will not only help you ace your tests but also develop a fluency and love for the language! I love what I do so I am a fun, patient, and effective learning partner.

I am passionate about teaching because I understand greatly a lot of the academic struggles and problems students may face through education, especially as a first generation college student. Currently I am studying for my medical doctorate degree (M.D.) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I graduated UCLA with a Biology degree with Asian Languages minor in 2019, cum laude honors. Both during my undergrad and days since, I had a chance to tutor private clients in Southern California and work for a few exam prep companies. I enjoy tutoring math, sciences (chemistry, biology mainly), social sciences (history, politics), essay writing, and Japanese.
