We completed example problems that involve entering data onto the calculator and using that to find the regression equation as well as graph the corresponding scatter plot.

The student and I briefly talked about the concepts from a couple of chapters, and he was confident he could complete them on his own. So we went ahead to a chapter that dealt with basic probabilities, and experimental vs. theoretical probabilities. We spent the majority of our time on this material, and I also created additional problems as we went through the assignment. He eventually was able to solve them on his own. After that, we went over the six problems his missed on his test, which mainly involved the distributive property. For the last part of the session, we focused on concepts and example problems concerning compound probabilities.

Today we went over rules of exponents and factoring to prepare the student for his final exam. He demonstrated a lot of his knowledge of these types of questions and did quite well.
