However, many candidates struggle with the exam because its questions are based on the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), not practical project management experience. Sample topics include making sure that all work is compliant with pertinent quality controls and sourcing the raw materials needed for project completion. Finally, the closing section encompasses seven percent of the questions and covers creating records for any audits in the future (among other topics).
Review courses and how-to books are available to help candidates with the PMP, but they are all limited to a defined curriculum that fails to take an individual's needs into consideration.
