I am currently an undergraduate at the University of California - Irvine pursuing a dual degree in Economics and Political Science. As the older sister to two wonderful brothers, I often found myself aiding them in their organization and coursework growing up. I firmly believe that education is one of the most important aspects to life. Beyond simply getting a job, there is so much in the world to explore, and I plan to never stop learning and growing even after I receive my degree. My first teaching experience came in college when I had the privilege of creating and teaching a series of literature courses at a local community center. There are few experiences I find more enriching than facilitating a meaningful dialogue centered around great works of literature and art. While literature and art are my passion, I also tutor in variety of other subjects, including math, science, and test preparation. I currently work as a lead teacher in the after-school program at Archway Classical Academy in Phoenix.

In other words, I get paid (peanuts) to chase plastic. Other things I enjoy arereading a great mystery, watching Netflix, playing Xbox, riding horses, playing with my massive dog, and staying in shape!

Learning is a two-way street, where we can gain only so much by ourselves. It is human nature to interact with one another, and gain from that experience something much more than what can be learned individually. It is for that reason that students need to interact with their learning, such as with a tutor, in order to better cement the content learned in school. I feel that I am qualified to guide students on that journey. I hold a master's in education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University.
