My background includes work as an environmental chemistry lab analyst and 15 years of homeschooling experience, where I developed a strong focus on individualized instruction, student-centered learning, and supporting students with executive functioning disorders in developing the skills and structure needed to be successful. Because every student has different learning needs, I take an individualized approach that adapts instruction, pacing, and support to each learner. I use scaffolding to break challenging concepts into manageable steps, the Feynman method to encourage simple and confident explanations, and a spiral approach to revisit key skills over time.
