I was a nurse for the University of Cincinnati for over 10 years and in this role I worked with their surgical team consisting of Vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, transplant and plastics, which has given me an amazing education. I graduated from southern state with an associates of science, Rets tech center with my LPN, Ashford University with my bachelors in alternative medicine, and my latest was my RN from Excelsior College. I passed my PN NCLEX on my first attempt and my RN just a few months ago. I have been a lifelong student and educated my nurses for their job and the use of our EMR system. I have a passion for learning and helping you learn. I believe that each person is unique and that as a tutor I need to meet your needs for learning and passing the NCLEX :)The way I run my NCLEX sessions is to do practice test questions and I give tips on how to see what are the incorrect answers and what are the correct answers. While doing questions we discover your weaknesses then I send learning materials to fill in the gaps so that you have the knowledge to pass your NCLEX. I also help you with working through test anxiety and gaining the confidence to pass the exam. Along with the NCLEX I would love to help you with nursing classes. In my free time I enjoy life with my 3.5 year old son, we love the outdoors and cooking together.
