I am currently a full time Language Development Specialist at Carnegie Mellon University. I received my Master's degree in Organizational Communication and my Bachelor's in rhetoric. I divide my time at work between working with students to help fill fluency gaps, teaching writing workshops, and working on cultural competency with non-native English speaker. I honed my skills overseas in Southeast Asia for five years working with a variety of topics including public speaking, ESL, and business writing. I have been certified for ESL work and have a 120 TESOL certificate. When not working with students I edit for the international teaching journal published through KOTESOL.
