About Me

I graduated from a Master in Finance program from Case Western Reserve University. I was born in Beijing and grow up in China. I specialize in tutoring Mandarin Chinese both entry level and advance level. I have been teaching a ten year old boy Mandarin for one year and he can hold long conversations, read and write in Chinese already. Also I was a private GMAT tutor at the 'New Oriental School' which is the top English training institution in China. Both experiences gave me a lot of tutoring skills and made me a good teacher. My teaching philosophy is to make sure that my students really understand Chinese and the inner logic of the language rather than memorization. My goal is to open the beautiful Chinese language window for my students and help them to master the language in a short time. In my tutoring, we would do role playing; we'd use Chinese memory cards and we can even bring the class to the park. It will be fun, relaxed but efficient and a rich tutoring experience. In my spare time, I love to enjoy the outdoors. I'm also a professional dancer and I play flute too. I look forward to studying Mandarin with you!
