I am a tutor, but I am also a mentor. While I believe education is of utmost importance, I also believe a student needs to find value in their education. I don't tutor to help students get the assignment done, I tutor to help develop respect for learning.

I am a very flexible person when it comes to my tutoring style. I know that everyone learns differently and it is my duty to do everything in my power to help my students succeed. If one explanation isn't quite getting through, there are always many other ways to get the solution across.

I'm comfortable with all math content up through Calculus. Some of my most enjoyable and rewarding experiences working with students have been helping them with assignments individually during a free period or after school. I'm excited to leverage my experience in the classroom in work with even more students on a one-on-one basis.

I am a firm believer in problem-based learning, and encourage students to ask questions and think for themselves.
