I am completing a one-year research fellowship in orthopedics at UPMC and will begin the fourth year of my medical school training next July.

I'm currently working towards an MS in Quantitative Finance and Economics from Texas State University. I also work as a Quantitative Analyst at a fixed income investment firm. In my previous jobs, I was an underwriter in the insurance industry and before that I was an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps. I enjoy teaching and helping students understand their academic subjects.

I am currently pursuing a masters program in Business Administration at Texas Southern University. This is why I have obtained not only a Bachelor's degree in education, but I have obtained a Master's degree as well. I'm Alyssa! I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology (with Honors and a 4.0 GPA!). I am a current Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at Texas Woman's University, continuing my education in Kinesiology and related subjects.

I am a responsive and talented educator offering tutoring to middle school, high school, and undergraduate students in the Humanities.
