I am a rising junior psychology major and neuroscience minor at Texas A&M University. I plan on attending medical school after graduating. I love science and the liberal arts! My favorites subjects are biology, chemistry, and Latin. I've had a passion for teaching and tutoring for a very long time and have had much informal tutoring experience. My favorite part about tutoring is the breakthrough moment when a student understands something they've been struggling with and they're able to really appreciate what they're learning. As nerdy as it sounds I love taking difficult tests, and over the years I've developed study strategies that have helped me be successful. I took a multitude of AP tests which helped me tremendously in my college classes. I also did well on the SAT and ACT and can pass on the knowledge I gained in the process. Overall I love all things science, but still ground myself in subjects that allow me to really think critically.

I am working toward an MD at Stanford University. I am happy to help with MCAT, SAT, SAT subject, AP test prep, and general academic subjects. I am continuing my education with a Master's in the same field. For years, I've helped my friends and siblings with homework for school, and they've always told me that I had a talent for teaching; I understand concepts very easily, and explanations come easy as well. The goal that I work towards for my students is to bless them holistically, both through my academic skills and through any relationship that I am able to build with them. I believe in teaching my key patterns of thinking; teach them how to fish instead of giving them a fish, as it is said. I'm Eisha, a Public Health major at the University of Texas at Austin with an interest in medicine and teaching.

Meghana's BS/MD track at Texas A&M means she's juggling neuroscience, biology, and English simultaneously — a combination that maps neatly onto the PSAT's split between quantitative reasoning and evidence-based reading and writing. Her 1570 SAT and 34 ACT show she's conquered both test formats the PSAT draws from, and she uses that dual experience to teach students how to handle command-of-evidence questions and Heart of Algebra problems with equal precision.

I'm currently attending Rice University- pursuing a double major Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Economics. As you can probably tell I'm very passionate about math, and I'm even more passionate about teaching it! I prefer to teach math a little differently than some of you may used to. Many of students think of math as a plug and chug approach- simply being given formulas and plugging numbers in. While I will give you the formulas and critical things to remember if you insist on it, I prefer to teach mathematics as a form of problem solving. How math works is a beautiful thought process- understanding how a formula was conceived is much more rewarding than simply memorizing it. But in the end it's all up to you- the student. If you want a fast run-down of everything you need to know to ace the test- I'll happily help you. However, if you're willing to think outside of the box and learn some very neat stuff, I'll open the doors to mathematical problem solving for you!

I am currently a third-year student majoring in Biology and a part of the Health Science Scholars Honors program at the University of Texas at Austin. I have experience tutoring high school and middle school students for the past couple of years in a variety of subjects and my favorite ones include sciences such as biology and chemistry, as well as ACT/SAT/PSAT test prep. I firmly believe in the value of good education and hope to inspire that same positivity in others.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University; I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology along with being a minor in Spanish. I also studied at Plano ISD in high school. As Plano ISD is recognized for its academic achievements and competitiveness, I have always been positively challenged by my curriculum and by my peers to improve and to push myself to excel. From a young age, I have always been a part of the Gifted and Talented program. Trying to challenge myself and wanting to be different, I took a risk and joined the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, a program that was not as well recognized at the time and was extremely difficult. Joining the IB program was the best decision I have taken thus far. I gained knowledge from all around world- different insights, different histories, different philosophies, different literature, etc.
