About Me

I am currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Florida International University, after earning my high school diploma from Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines Charter High School. As a former ACT Varsity Tutors student myself, I experienced firsthand the value of clear communication and interactive online learningsomething I now strive to bring to my own tutoring. As the second of six siblings, my passion for tutoring grew naturally from helping my younger brothers and sisters with their homework. I offer tutoring in elementary-level English, Writing, and Math, with a special enthusiasm for English and Writing. I have always loved reading and writing fiction books and poetry, and I aim to share that same excitement for language with my students. My teaching style focuses on creativity and an interactive experience with the students. I often use toys and tools to make lessons hands-on and memorable, and I draw on my graphic design background to strengthen the connection between visuals and language in my worksheets. Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, designing, and getting lost in a really good book.
