About Me

I love teaching, and the joy I feel when I see that a student I am helping finally understands a difficult concept is not easy to express in words. I am the type of teacher who will never give up on you! Each one of my students matters to me personally. I am going to help each student feel that sense of accomplishment as s/he progresses in learning the core principles of reading and/or math. I will continually assess and evaluate how each student is understanding what I teach and how I teach it. I will do what it takes to help each of my students to succeed! I have 25 years of teaching experience in various disciplines, including 17 years as a learning coach/tutor through Connections Academy, a K-12 online charter school. I have a B.S. degree as a Teacher/Trainer from Lake Erie College in Painesville, OH, USA. I also have a 360-hour TEFL/TESOL Certification, including 180 hours of training in teaching English to online students through Bridge Education Group, accredited through the U.S. Dept. of Education.
