About Me

I am a graduate of Hinds Community College and a future graduate of Delta State University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading and Writing. I have been in the education field for over 12 years teaching and tutoring students from Pre-K to 8th grade. While I am able to tutor in multiple subjects, my areas of expertise include reading and reading comprehension, test prep for Subject Area testing from grades 3-8 and I have a high success rate in tutoring students in passing the 3rd Grade Literacy Reading Gate assessment. Education is my passion and teaching students is what I live for. Every student, regarding of background, race or religion should have an equal opportunity to learn and succeed in life. When I am not helping students, I love spending time either reading or playing my piano or playing with my two dogs, Daisy and Farrah
