I received my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology. After graduation, I completed my teacher certification coursework with a focus in English Language Arts and Social Studies. The day that I became a certified teacher was one of the proudest moments in my life. Reading is my primary focus of instruction. Empowering students with effective reading skills that will help them be successful READERS across the curriculum is my motivation for teaching. Good readers make better writers! I am well prepared to dedicate myself to the highest standards of learning for my students. I love supporting my struggling readers and motivating their desire to learn.
