About Me

I am a graduate of University of Maryland Global Campus. I received my Master of Science Degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Investigations. Prior to receiving my graduate degree, I attended American Public University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal justice. I have held positions as an Investigator for a State Agency, and I am currently a Senior Consultant and Subject Matter Expert for all things Cyber Security. Throughout my career and educational journey, I've found that there is a major gap between providing instruction and helping one understand the critical thinking skills that go into solving a problem. I like to think of myself as mastering the art of being able to figure things out. As a tutor, I am not going to know everything, but I will be able to help you figure it out. That is what I am great at. I will teach you the necessary critical thinking skills and research skills that will take you far beyond your current problem. In this way, my students learn to look at a problem and figure out how to break it down into manageable tasks. My strong suit is incident response, communications, investigation, vulnerability management, organizational writing, governance risk and compliance, critical infrastructure, cloud, and software development security.
